My first art teacher, Earlene Barnes, took our group down in the valley of El Paso, TX, to sketch. When I looked out the car window, I saw this site. "Stop, stop," I yelled. The sunshine was just right, and there was a painting ready to be put on canvas. I have painted it several times and so did Earlene.
